celebrity + charity + global relief:
Louis Vuitton's One of A Kind Design to Benefit Children's Charity

Louis Vuitton Malletier just announced a new charity effort that is set to benefit CLIC Sargent, a London-based charity benefiting children with cancer.

The luxury brand has designed what it is calling the "Ultimate Travel Bag" which will be auctioned off online, and through telephone bidding, between December 10th and midnight (U.K time) on December 18th. 100 % of the net proceeds will go directly towards helping children with cancer and leukemia and their families that CLIC Sargent cares for. With a starting bid at about 10,000 pounds U.K, it is guaranteed to provide some meaningful support to the worthy cause.

The concept for the auction was the brain child of Lisa Armstrong, the renowned Fashion Editor of the Times of London. Louis Vuitton got behind the idea and set out and designed the one of a kind lux traveller guaranteed to become an instant collectors item, especially with its unique forged iconic monogram canvas. Some of the bag features include:

  • a passport cover in MONOGRAM canvas to protect your travel documents
  • set of wheels and pulling mechanism for ease of travel
  • oversized cashmere eyeshades and blanket for in-flight comfort
  • computer case for working on-the-go
  • a transparent detachable toiletries kit for swift X-ray security navigation at airports when carrying liquids
  • a foldable jewelry kit to store your precious cargo
  • an evening clutch in MONOGRAM Vernis leather for instant glamour on-the-run
  • a laundry pouch, for practicality
...essentially everything your average jet setter could dream of.

The Ultimate Travel Bag will be exhibited between December 10 & 18 at: Louis Vuitton190/192 Sloane Street., London SW1X 9QX. For more information on the bag, the auction and the charity go to
