Grand Rapids Michigan Welcomes First LEED Gold Certified Museum in the Nation

--art + architecture + design--

Kulpat Yantrasast of wHY Architects (Workshop Hakomori Yantrasast) is the mastermind behind the first LEED Gold certified museum in the nation. The 125,000 square foot structure is one of two museums making headlines this year for their LEED certification, the other being the Contemporary Art Museum of Denver expect to be Gold certified this year.

The Michigan structure conveys true grandeur of a respected cultural destination, while not compromising the intimate nature required to fully appreciate the arts.
